A heart-shaped ruby of vivid crimson red, held in yellow gold prongs above a diamond halo and pave-set shank in 14KT white gold. The two-tone combination is deliberate - the yellow gold prongs warm the ruby's color and create a rich contrast against the cool white gold frame of diamonds surrounding it. The heart outline of the halo follows the ruby's shape exactly, and diamond pave continues along both sides of the shank for continuous sparkle. The back of the setting reveals a perfectly formed heart-shaped gallery - as beautiful from the underside as from above.
