What is a hidden halo? A hidden halo positions a ring of diamonds beneath and around the base of the center stone rather than surrounding it from above. The effect adds luminosity and visual size to the center stone without adding visual bulk - a more subtle, sophisticated approach than a traditional overhead halo.
What is the difference between the oval and round versions? Both are sized for a 2.00 ct center stone. The round version accommodates an 8mm round brilliant; the oval version accommodates a 10.5x7mm oval brilliant. Oval diamonds tend to appear larger face-up than rounds of the same carat weight and have an elongating effect on the finger.
