Q&A
Why does yellow gold suit natural emeralds so particularly well? Yellow gold and emerald share a warm color affinity - the gold's warmth deepens the emerald's green toward a more saturated, forest-green quality. This combination has been used since antiquity precisely because the two materials bring out the best in each other: the gold makes the green richer, and the green makes the gold appear more luminous.
