What makes shared-prong setting the most diamond-forward band setting available? Shared-prong setting secures each adjacent pair of diamonds with a single prong post between them - rather than four prongs per stone, each stone needs only two, which dramatically reduces the metal between diamonds. The result is a continuous line of diamonds with the absolute minimum metal interruption between each stone, creating a band that reads as nearly all diamond across its face. No other band setting style exposes more diamond surface per carat weight than shared prong.
